Over 1000 new U.S. citizens took the oath of citizenship Monday, September 24, 2007 at the Delco Activity Center in Austin. The number of new citizens was a new record for the Austin ceremony, which is held twice a year in an event staged jointly by the USCIS and local immigration advocates.
News 8 Austin aired a feature on the event. You may read their online story here, on view the TV news spot by clicking here. The Austin American-Statesman also published a very nice photo essay highlighting the ceremony.
The Law Office of Paul Parsons welcomes these new citizens of the United States and we look forward to continue to help set new records in the number of immigrants that chose and are able to wave into the fabric of our great nation.
