Paul Parsons will be giving a lecture on United States immigration law for employers as part of the upcoming The People's Law School program at the end of February.
The People's Law School is a free opportunity for the public to learn the basics of common legal issues. Local lawyers volunteer their time to provide legal information on topics that might be important and interesting to the general public.
PLS is sponsored by the Austin Bar Association and the Lawyer Referral Service of Central Texas in partnership with the University of Texas School of Law and the lawyer volunteers who provide their time and expertise. Classes will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the UT School of Law campus.
It is free to attend. You are encouraged to register online; however, registration is not necessary, and walk-ups are welcome.
Parking is free in the San Jacinto Parking Garage (accessible from San Jacinto and Trinity Streets) on the UT campus. After parking, exit on Trinity Street to reach the Law School. Click here for a map and directions.
